The whole delivery experience was frustrating. My order kept saying it was delayed, but the tracking barely changed, so I was just stuck checking it over and over like that would somehow make it move. Support wasn’t much help either, just kind of vague replies with no real answer on when it would actually show up. I get that delays happen, but not knowing anything is what made it worse. Anyway, I wouldn’t order from here again if I needed something by a certain date
"Prices felt unfair"
I was already feeling mentally drained, and seeing the prices just made it worse. It felt way too pricey for what it was, and I left feeling like it wasn’t really worth it for me.

The pictures made this bag look way better than it does in real life. I don’t know what kind of lighting or editing they used, but what showed up was not giving the same vibe at all. Kind of annoying when you think you’re ordering one thing and then open the box and it’s basically a whole different bag

My bag showed up quicker than I thought, and it looked close to the pictures. There were a few extra scratches I wasn’t really expecting, so it could’ve been described a little better. It wasn’t a big deal though, and overall it was an okay experience

"Commission wasn’t clear from the start"
My first impression was that the commission details weren’t very obvious, and that kind of set the tone for the whole experience. I expected to see right away what I’d be paying or losing on the sale, but I ended up having to click around and figure it out later. Maybe the info is there somewhere, but it didn’t feel upfront to me. For a resale site, that should be clear from the beginning. It left me a bit annoyed and made me trust the process less.

I tried using The Vintage Bar it didn’t leave me feeling great. A few things were kind of vague, and for a site dealing with purchases that aren’t exactly cheap, I would’ve expected clearer information and a bit more reassurance. Maybe some people have had perfectly fine experiences, and good for them, but I personally didn’t feel very comfortable buying there. I don’t think I’d take the risk again.

I ordered from The Vintage Bar and the communication was okay overall, but a bit slower than I hoped. I sent a question about my order and they did get back to me, but it took a little while, and I ended up sending one follow-up just to check in.
The replies were polite and answered what I needed, so it wasn’t a bad experience. I just would’ve appreciated clearer updates along the way, even something small like a quick note saying they were looking into it.

"Refund took much longer than I expected"
I requested my refund a few weeks ago and thought it would be sorted within a few days. By the end of the first week, I was already checking my account constantly, and then I had to keep waiting with no clear update. It finally came through, but the whole process took way too long and was frustrating. Not the best experience...

"Felt ignored after ordering"
I emailed them about my order because I just wanted a simple update, nothing complicated. And you know how it is when you’ve spent a decent amount of money and you keep checking your inbox like, okay, surely they’ll reply soon? Days went by, and when they finally answered, it felt like a copy-paste line that didn’t address what I asked at all.
I tried following up again, thinking maybe I’d explained it badly or they missed the point, but then it was just silence. The whole thing left a bad taste, not even because the issue was huge, but because getting a real response shouldn’t be this hard. I wouldn’t use them again.

The bag just seemed a little off to me. The stitching looked weird and the serial number didn’t feel right. I reached out to support but they didn’t really explain much so I’m still not convinced it was authentic.

I don’t mind waiting a little, but I do expect to have some idea of when something is actually going to arrive. I was basically just checking and wondering what was going on. For me, the shipping experience didn’t meet the standard I usually look for, so I probably wouldn’t order again

"Barely Anything I Wanted Was Available"
I was so disappointed browsing thevintagebar.com. I kept finding cute pieces, getting excited for like two seconds, and then, boom, already sold or only available in some totally random option I’d never pick. It felt like I was on an endless treasure hunt where the treasure had already been taken by everyone else. Maybe I just happened to look at the worst possible time, but the selection felt way too limited for my taste.

Every time I check, the designer pieces I actually want are already sold out. It feels like other shoppers somehow find the good stuff way before I do, and I’m just left scrolling through whatever’s left.

I don’t know, the site was just frustrating to use. Pages took a while to load, and then checkout kept acting weird like it wasn’t sure what it wanted to do. I eventually got through it, but yeah... not the smoothest experience.

"Bag wasn’t really what I expected"
I’m not sure, maybe I was expecting too much, but the bag looked a lot rougher in person than it did in the photos. The leather felt kind of dry and cheaper than I’d hoped, and the corners were definitely more worn than shown. For the price, I guess I just expected it to be in better shape...
